The pictures ... Day 2, Part 2
After my brief break in the picnic area, it was time for another round through the loop road of Cades Cove.
There was a large group of butterflies along the roadside at an early stop on the loop, including this rather colorful one.
I took a few too many shots like this as well, but I like them.
I saw these orange flowers among the mixture of yellow and white from the road, so I stopped and wandered into the field. When I saw all of the butterflies, I was amazed. Upon seeing these shots, my mother informed me the flower is called butterfly weed. Makes total sense to me.
I was very pleased that this yellowjacket didn't fly away, or even worse sting me, before I could get the picture.
I didn't realize until I was going through these back at home that I had caught a seed from the dandelion blowing away.
One of the many crows in the loop road area, keeping a watch over things. This particular tree seems to be a common place for them to hang out.

Nice butterfly shots and that was nice of Mr. Yellowjacket.
Bond, thanks. I was pleased with the result on both of those.
Great composition on those.
