A brief update ...
Two weeks after one asshole (employee of Craiglist) told the detective investigating my case that he had to speak with another asshole (a co-worker) and would call back, guess what?
No one has called the detective back. In two weeks.
On a different note, I made a quick trip to central Tennessee to see an old friend over the weekend. To say the remaining fall colors were somewhat depressing is an understatement.
